"Cornerstone Roofing and Siding provided excellent service and communication with fantastic results. The metal roof they installed gave new life to this older home built 1901! This baby is good to go for another 100 years!"

Showed up exactly when they said they would (6:15 am) sorry to my neighbors. They were done by 2:15 Pm.YES that same day! … they had a guy cleaning up as the crew was working. not one nail or plastic left behind.
Seeing them work was like watching a well-oiled machine!
Their no-risk inspection revealed multiple pieces of wind damage to my shingles. From start-to-finish, the process was smooth, detailed and professional. The team who removed my shingles and installed the metal was amazing!

Ravenna, Portage County
Ravenna is the county seat of Portage County and sits at the center of a market where many homeowners have never had a roofing contractor perform a formal inspection. The 44266 zip code contains a dense mix of 1940s through 1970s residential construction — two-story colonials, split-levels, and brick ranches that have been re-roofed once or twice but rarely formally assessed for code compliance, ventilation performance, or storm damage. Cornerstone provides free, no-obligation inspections throughout Portage County with written reports and photo documentation.
Ravenna's roughly 5,400 homes have a median construction year of 1960, and 36% were built before 1950 (U.S. Census Bureau, 2020-2024 American Community Survey). The Census Bureau counts about 1,500 Ravenna homes built in 1939 or earlier, 27% of the city, and the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s each added between 12% and 13%. Only 14% were built in 2000 or later. Most Ravenna roofs are on houses old enough to have been reroofed several times, so a tear-off here can turn up an older layer or board decking under the current shingles, and we photograph both before recommending what to replace.
Just over half of Ravenna's occupied homes are rented, per the same survey. If you own a rental, the inspection photos and written scope come to you, and we can plan the visit around your tenant.
