What should I do to prepare for my roof inspection?

Make sure the inspector can access your attic if needed, clear garage entrances so we can move around the perimeter, put pets inside, and have your insurance policy information available if this is a claim-related inspection. That's it. We handle everything else.

Do I need to be home during the inspection?

You don't need to be present for the exterior roof inspection. However, we recommend being available for a brief walkthrough at the end so we can show you what we found and answer your questions in person.

How long does a roof inspection take?

Most residential roof inspections take 30–60 minutes depending on roof size and complexity. If we're also inspecting gutters and siding, budget an extra 15–20 minutes.

Will the inspector go on my roof?

Yes. Our inspectors physically walk the roof (when safe to do so) and use drones or ladders for steep pitches. We take photos of every finding and share them with you immediately.

What happens after the inspection?

We'll review our findings with you on-site or by phone within the same day. If there's damage, we'll explain your options and walk you through the insurance claim process if applicable. There's no obligation to move forward.
